Catherine Wales

The MCS Foundation

Catherine is Public Affairs Manager for Scotland at The MCS Foundation, where she leads the organisation’s engagement with the Scottish Government, Parliament and political stakeholders.

She joined the Foundation in May 2025, having previously worked in public affairs consultancy across renewables, planning and environmental policy.

Catherine studied politics at the University of Dundee before completing a master’s in International Political Theory at the University of St Andrews.
