Give us a brief description of your background

I studied a Business Degree at Coventry University and was fortunate to be Product Management and Strategy Intern at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. After this I became the Commercial Graduate at Aston Martin.

However, after working for 4.5 yrs in the Automotive Industry, I quit my job to pursue a much-desired career within the Sustainability sphere and am currently working hard to make that a reality.

Who/what inspires you?

The ‘Who’ is my father, his tenacity and spirit is something I strive to achieve.

The ‘What’ is the work done by many organisations such as the Environment Agency, the GMCA and the Manchester Climate Change Agency. Their objective of making our community and country a better place is something to be proud of and I want to be a part of.

What does the word leadership make you think of?

Being an example to others. Understanding what is required to make genuine change and working hard to achieve that goal.

How do you feel about taking part in the Future Leaders programme?

Incredibly excited! To be given the opportunity to not only upskill myself but learn further about this industry and network with other passionate individuals is a dream come true!

What do you think are the keys to a sustainable future?

I think a big key to a sustainable future is the changing of the overall public consciousness to Climate Change. Once more people understand the gravity of the situation and what is required to make genuine change, we will see a greater shift. I believe that process and policy change start with people and their perception.
